It’s totally normal to be nervous about getting your photos taken, especially if it’s your first time, but don’t stress! There’s no judgment whatsoever, It’s about making you look and feel your absolute best! We’ll chat about what you’re aiming for and how we can achieve that together throughout the session. I aim to make all my sessions as relaxing and fun as possible and if there’s anything I can do beforehand to help, just let me know. 

You want to make sure you’re feeling your absolute best on the day and a lil’ bit of self-care before the shoot will go a long way. A good night's sleep, lil’ bit of self-TLC, working out or mediating beforehand may help too. On the day - make sure you arrive early to get the most out of the session and help you settle in. 

Wear what represents you and your personality at its best; but also what you feel the most comfortable in. My only suggestion is to avoid logos and intense patterns. It’s good to bring options so we can see what works and give you as many different looks as possible. 

Don’t be daft! Everyone deserves a lovely photo of themselves. Anyone is welcome to get their photos done for whatever reason. For their socials, professional profiles, branding or even if you want a nice photo for yourself or for your nanna.

Well you’re in luck - I offer a quick 30-minute shoot for a discounted rate called Bucket Days - this is perfect for those who are after a new profile photo or a refresher rather than a full shoot. It’s cheaper too and you’ll get two retouched photos. 

To help you feel as safe & comfortable as possible - with your permission, I can share the location of the shoot and time of arrival & departure with your emergency contact. This will be shared in a group chat with yourself included for full visibility. 

Within 24 hours, you’ll receive a link to an online viewing gallery where you can share with your friends, family or agent to decide which photos are best. Select the photos you like and then within 7 days, you will receive the high-res, retouched images in your inbox! Please note that if shooting on film, timings will be longer due to developing times - expect 2-3 working days for the online viewing gallery. 

To make sure we’re keeping the photos as authentic as possible - only subtle blemish removals & colour correction will be done to the photos. If you need certain crops, would prefer them in black & white or have any particular requests, just let me know. 

By booking a session with Lovely, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions in full. 

• Ownership of Imagery

  All photographs, including but not limited to RAW files and edited images, are the exclusive property of Lovely. The client is granted a limited license for personal and professional use of the final, edited images delivered by Lovely. 

• Image Usage Rights:
  The Photographer retains the copyright and ownership of all images taken during the event/session. The Client is granted personal and non-commercial usage rights of the images for purposes such as printing, sharing on social media, spotlight, agency sites and personal use. The Client agrees not to alter the images or use them for commercial purposes without obtaining permission from the Photographer.

• Cancellation and Rescheduling:
  In the event of a cancellation by the Client within 3 days, the deposit will not be returned. If the Client needs to reschedule the event/session, they must notify the Photographer as soon as possible. The Photographer will make efforts to accommodate the new date, subject to availability.

• Editing and Alteration

  The client is strictly prohibited from editing, altering, or manipulating the final images in any way without the express written consent of Lovely. This includes, but is not limited to, cropping, colour correction, retouching, or applying filters.

• RAW Files

  RAW files are the unprocessed digital negatives created during the photo session. These files remain the sole property of Lovely and will not be formally delivered to the client unless watermarked and explicitly agreed upon in writing. The client is not permitted to access, edit, or use RAW files for any purpose.

• Legal Action

  Any unauthorized editing, distribution, or misuse of the images, including the unauthorized use of RAW files, will constitute a breach of these terms and conditions. Lovely reserves the right to pursue legal action and seek damages in the event of such a breach.

• Credit and Attribution

  When using the images for professional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, or portfolios, the client agrees to provide appropriate credit to Lovely as the photographer. This includes tagging or mentioning Lovely  in any online posts where the images are used.

• Modifications to Terms

  Lovely reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the client in writing and will take effect immediately upon notification.

• Agreement

  By booking a session with Lovely, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions in full. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in the termination of the license to use the images and potential legal consequences.
